OUR SERVICES

At Madviso we have been auditing websites and e-shops for many years. One of our audits is the accessibility audit, the first step for companies that want to meet their legal obligations regarding the accessibility of websites and digital services. We recommend combining it with other audits that affect website and e-shop performance.
Accessibility also brings major benefits for users and for the website as a whole. Not every visitor uses the same browser or device, and not everyone has perfect eyesight. A web accessibility audit ensures your website is usable and understandable for everyone. An accessible website improves usability and conversion rates and reaches a wider audience.
After delivering the audit we recommend going through the results together in a training session or consultation. What will be implemented, and whether a light redesign is needed, is agreed with the client. Going through the results together helps clarify priorities and context.
We recommend the accessibility audit for companies covered by the accessibility act, especially e-shops and digital service providers. It also benefits smaller companies that want a website usable by all customers. An accessible website also improves SEO and conversion rate.
Here are answers to the questions clients ask us most often in this area. If you cannot find what you are looking for, write to us or give us a call and we will be happy to help. The first consultation with us is always free.
The act applies to e-shops and digital services; microenterprises with fewer than 10 employees and turnover up to €2 million are exempt. If you are unsure, we can help you assess it. Accessibility is worth addressing even without a legal obligation.
We test against the international WCAG standard on which European legislation is based. We combine automated tools with manual testing. We also check screen reader and keyboard use.
It is a document describing the website’s accessibility level, exceptions and how to report issues. The law requires it from affected service providers. We prepare it after the audit and implementation of fixes.

LEGISLATION
Since June 2025 the Slovak act on the accessibility of products and services, implementing the European Accessibility Act, applies to websites and digital services including e-commerce. Websites must be accessible to people with disabilities who use assistive technologies such as screen readers. The goal is for a website to be readable, operable and usable with these tools, including submitting a form or completing a purchase.
Testing focuses on colour contrast, screen reader support, text alternatives for non-text elements, keyboard navigation and heading structure, as well as readability of texts and forms. Microenterprises with fewer than 10 employees and annual turnover up to €2 million are exempt. Compliance is supervised by the Slovak Trade Inspection, which can impose fines for violations.
OUR STRENGTHS
An accessibility audit starts from €1,600 excl. VAT, depending on the number of pages reviewed and the actual scope. Implementation of fixes and the Accessibility Statement are priced after the audit.
